With fares starting from NZ$1.00, travelling on the InterCity, Newmans and Great Sights bus/coach network is an affordable way to see New Zealand's unique scenic beauty.

InterCity Coachlines operates a fleet of modern eco-friendly, air conditioned buses with reclining seats and foot rests. InterCity buses do not have onboard toilet/washroom facility but services do stop regularly for comfort and refreshment breaks.

Newmans Coachlines and Great Sights operate modern luxury, air-conditioned coaches with reclining seats with foot and head rests and on board toilet/washroom facility.

InterCity Link provides regular bus services to smaller regional centres in association with local bus operators.

InterCity Coachlines operates the Starlighter overnight coach service between Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, Palmerston North and Wellington or vice versa, connecting with Cook Strait ferry services between Wellington and Picton.

With InterCity, Great Sights and Newmans Coachlines integrated online fare, seat availability and reservation system, you can make reservations for all InterCity Coachlines, Great Sights and Newmans bus and coach services through out New Zealand.

When using the online fare, seat availability reservation system, Newmans Coachlines is identified as 'NM', Great Sights is identified as 'GS' , InterCity Link as 'IL' and Intercity Coachlines is identified as 'IC'.

Reservations can be made for drop off options at Christchurch International Airport on northbound InterCity services from Invercargill, Te Anau, Dunedin, Timaru, Oamaru, Ashburton to Christchurch and Great Sights services from Queenstown Twizel, Lake Tekapo and Mt Cook, by typing or selecting 'Christchurch Airport' in the 'To' field, as your drop off location. 

Pick ups and drop offs for Newmans services between Christchurch Lake Tekapo, Twizel, Wanaka and Queenstown, typ or select "Christchurch Antarctic Centre" in 'From' and/or 'To' as your pick up or drop off location.

Reservations can be made for travel to/from Auckland International Airport to any southbound destination outside the greater Auckland region either from the International or domestic terminals.

From the reservation search box located on the left, in the 'From' field, select either 'Auckland International Airport' or 'Auckland Domestic Airport' and in the 'To' field, the destination you want to travel too.

Reservations for bus and coach travel within the greater Auckland urban region can not be made, as these services are local commuter services.

With a range of 'Hop On/Hop Off' Flexi Coach Passes, you can travel at your own pace on the InterCity and Newmans Coachlines national bus and coach network.

All Flexi Coach Passes are sold in blocks of 'Travel' hours, travel Trips' or choose from a range of pre-selected travel plans, allowing you to travel on regular InterCity and Newmans bus and coach services or on any Great Sights premier sightseeing services, in any direction as many times as your 'Travel' hours or 'Trips' allow for up to 12 months from the date of your first travel.
